Well done to the Year 9 football team. They have played two games so far this season beating St Thomas More 5-3 with good performances from Gilchris Kakanou, Charlie Bradbury and Harvey Pickering. Their latest victory came tonight, in bitter conditions, at home against Haywood Academy winning 4-2. The boys dominated proceedings but Haywood kept nicking goals to keep the scoreline close until the last 10 minutes where we scored 2 quick goals to seal the win. Another strong performance from Gilchris kakanou but was well supported by Josh Smith on the right wing in the 1st half, Liam Hof controlling things at the back, Bailey-Jack Pointon pressing upfront and Ethan Wheeldon who completed a great double save whilst it was 2-2.
