SIAMS Inspection
St Peter's CofE Academy was visited by a Church of England Education Board SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) Inspector on 26 and 27 September 2019.
SIAMS inspections evaluate how effectively a Church school's Christian vision and values shape the life and work of the school, enabling both pupils and adults to flourish. The inspection considers areas such as the school's Christian distinctiveness, collective worship, and the impact of teaching and learning within a Christian context.
We are delighted that the inspection recognised the strength of our Christian ethos and awarded GOOD judgements in all three areas assessed:
- Overall Christian Distinctiveness
- Collective Worship
- Teaching and Learning
These outcomes represented an improvement on our previous SIAMS inspection and reflected the commitment of our staff, pupils, governors, families and the wider community to living out our Christian vision and values every day.

The report highlights the positive impact of our Christian character on school life, the quality of worship opportunities, and the way our values support the personal, spiritual and academic development of all members of our school community.
We are proud of this achievement and remain committed to ensuring that our Christian vision continues to inspire and guide everything we do.
