Child Criminal Exploitation
Understanding Financial Exploitation
At our academy, safeguarding the wellbeing of our students is a top priority. One growing concern affecting children and young people is financial exploitation, where individuals may be manipulated, coerced, or pressured into allowing others to use their money, bank accounts, or financial information for criminal purposes.
It is important that students, parents, carers, and staff understand the signs of exploitation and know where to seek support. Financial exploitation is often linked to wider forms of criminal exploitation and can have serious consequences for young people.
For more information about financial exploitation and how it can impact children and young people, please visit The Children's Society guidance:

Working together, we can help keep young people safe, informed, and supported.
