Posted on: 5th Nov 2019
This year as part of our Harvest contribution, St Peter’s CofE Academy donated to the following local charities
Foodbank – We provided 15 crates of produce – staff at the Foodbank distribution centre said that this is the largest single contribution from one school that they have ever received. Students enjoyed helping to label and pack the produce ready for distribution.

We provided 10 boxes of toiletries towards families in crisis
Elderly
Very grateful - one lady said that ‘Awww, how kind, this is the first thing that I’ve ever been given’, the lady was really overwhelmed and wanted to thank St Peter's Academy for our generosity.
We also received the following messages from members of the public:
A lovely phone call from a gentleman named Terry and his wife Natalie. He was so grateful and wanted to thank us for the very kind hamper.
Temple street Homeless Night Shelter in Fenton
We provided 10 boxes of toiletries and packet food - the staff were very appreciative of our contribution, staff showed us around the centre and introduced the students to some of their clients.
