Today, I attended the funeral of Rosemary Myers. Rosemary was Chair of Governors at St. Peter’s from December 2014 until July 2018 and work tirelessly with myself and the Principal before me on improving the Academy. Rosemary was an inspirational lady who listened intently and never wasted any words, when she spoke you listened.

Rosemary was instrumental in setting the foundations that has allowed St. Peter’s to flourish and had a passion for reading. She opened our new library in December 2018 , something that I know gave her great joy and even after she had left the Governing Body, she continued to lobby businesses to help buy books for it.

She will be missed by everyone connected to St. Peter’s CofE Academy.
