Commiserations to St Peter’s lads who unfortunately lost 5.2 away to Thomas Alleyne’s (Uttoxeter) even after dominating most of the game.

St Peter’s started on the front foot and created numerous chances but couldn't hit the target. The score stayed at 0.0 until 15 mins into the game when Alleyne’s headed in a cross from a corner. The St Peter’s defence then seem to buckle and we saw ourselves 4.0 down at the break.

In the second half, the lads started brightly and it wasn’t long before we were awarded a penalty which Brandon Teague easily converted. St Peter’s kept on the pressure which saw Blaine Batkin score from the 6 yard box to make it 4.2.

Unfortunately that was the end of the mini come back as Alleyne’s scored a 5th and saw the game out.

Well done to all!!! Really good effort!!

Man of the Match was close between Muhammed Muntelebi and Kyle Hayes but Mo just takes the spoils with an excellent performance on the wing.
