St Peter’s CofE Academy will be celebrating Harvest Festival on Thursday 14 October.

This year we will be supporting our local Parish Church, Christchurch in Fenton, and SOT Foodbank. We will also be donating to ‘Open Doors’ Charity in Stoke who support the Homeless and contributing to SPA Foodbank.

‘SOT Foodbank’ - Providing food parcels to hundreds of families in crisis within SOT.

Father Tommy & Christ Church – providing food parcels and supporting the elderly in the local community.

‘SPA Foodbank’ – Extending hospitality and supporting families within our own school community.

‘Open Doors Charity supporting the Homeless’ is a charity based in Stoke that provides the homeless with food and provision.

This year we are requesting that Year 7, 8 and 9 collect the following items: tinned or packet foods including jars and bottles.

Year 10 & 11 will be supporting outreach work by collecting basic toiletries such as feminine hygiene products, shower gel, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet rolls etc

If your child would like to take home a harvest parcel for an elderly relative or neighbour they must see Mrs Rubin before Monday 11 October or fill in a harvest parcel request form.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs Rubin via email at mrubin1@spa.woodard.co.uk

We look forward to your continued help in supporting our core values as we seek to make a little difference in the hearts and lives of others.

Mrs Rubin - Worship Co-ordinator
