I looked upon 1000 students and staff on the stage and in the sports hall, with immense pride this morning for our Christmas Service.

The recently formed Christian Distinctiveness Student Council Group, with the help of a number of willing staff, put on an informative and highly amusing take on the Nativity. This was punctuated with prayer, singing (thanks to Paul Critchley on the keyboard) and a dance act. 

Rev Dave Street was his usual engaging self, bringing a personal touch to the Word of God, before the wonderful Mrs Rubin wrapped things up with a closing Prayer.

A few hours later, students were tucking into Christmas Dinner served by the staff!

Don’t forget it is Christmas Jumper Day Thursday with donations going to the local dog’s home.
