Photography

Photography is for creative students who enjoy playing with imagery using both digital and manual techniques, enjoy being arty and love taking photographs. You will research photographers and develop your own ideas through photographs, composition, set design and manipulation of imagery using Photoshop. You will be taught how to experiment with cameras, studio lighting and editing. You will then learn how to improve the quality of your work and make professional looking final pieces for display.

Photography is the practice of producing images using light-sensitive materials such as photographic film or digital methods of development and production to create static or moving images. The course will introduce you to practical studio and on-location photgraphic processes in addition to theoretical aspects of Photography. You will be encouraged to explore a variety of techniques and processes in a highly personal and meaningful way. You will develop your creative thinking, visual communication and problem solving skills. Photography can lead you to many creative jobs such as an Art Director, Stylist, Photo Journalist and many more.
